Took a walk today at the campus since it is was nice (and I was quite tired looking at excel files — analyzing data from last summer for 3 straight days). Went to the Beal Botanical Garden. Saw 1-2 bees working for pollen on the Christmas rose here (Helleborus niger, Renunculaceae).
Winter Aconite (Eranthis hyemalis, Asteraceae) always have bees on them. But why do I keep shooting the same flowers every year? I am a sucker to bees on flowers…
