On December 3, 2011, the Michigan Beekeepers’ Association (MBA) held it annual meeting at the conclusion the 2011 Fall Conference. The election results were announced as follows:
President – Terry Toland
Vice President – Ann Leonard
Secretary – Dan Schram
District 1 – Ken Hoekstra
District 3 – Dennis Holly
District 5 – Larry Hilbert
District 7 – Ed Wright, John Hugo and Melissa Hronkin
Each of these offices will be for a two year term, with the exception of the Vice President which will be a one year term.
So with this election the gavel passes from Roger Hoopingarner (who will be on the MBA board as Past President) to Terry Toland. The MBA Board and the entire membership welcomes Terry to his new position and wishes him success and fulfillment as the new MBA president. Congratulations, Terry!
