The 2013 MBA spring conference will be held March 8 & 9, 2013, in the Kellogg Center on the Michigan State University campus. This, in and of itself, is nothing new to Michigan beekeepers. As usual, the MBA has reserved a block of rooms at the conference center at a discount. The bad news is that this block of rooms have been taken (as of this writing on February 9). There may be more rooms available at the Kellogg Center, but at the full nightly rate.
The good news is that the MBA has also reserved a block of 25 rooms at the Courtyard Marriott hotel on 2710 Lake Lansing Road. This is about 10 minutes (0r so) from the Kellogg Center. These rooms are available for the discounted rated of $89.00 per night, plus taxes. If you wish to reserve a room at the Marriott, then please use the reservation group code “BKA”.

I’m a bit confused on the dates of the conference in March? Is it held on the 7, 8 and 9th March? Or is it on the 8 and 9th March. I was wondering if it was a typo? Any information would be helpful. Thank you and have a pleasant day.
